For the 3rd Kannada International Music Awards the entries are open for 28 categories from July 3 announced organizer of the awards event VK Lokesh addressing the media on Monday morning at Chancery Pavilion.

There are 28 category of awards – composer – best song, popular song, background score, arranger/programmer, mixing and mastering engineer, lyricist, male and female singers, short film music, devotional music, television music, light music, theatre music and New Age awards such as music band, music video, music jingle, DJ Remix, independent artist, mixing and mastering Engineer, Special music awards for Lifetime achievement, Outstanding contribution, international musician of the year.

At the media address on Monday Lokesh on behalf of KIMA stated that V Manohar, V Nagendra Prasad, Dr Jayasri Aravind, NS Prsasad, BR Naveen Kumar, Gopu, Gautham Shenoy are in the jury for selection of 28 categories of awards in music.

For registering of names in different categories they can long on to www.kima.co.in The music from January to December 2014 composed are eligible for participation. KIMA awards is subsidiary to Taurian property.
